Sculpture (soft glass) - 2 class session

Create nature-inspired sculptural pieces such as leaves, flowers and acorns. Learn how to make twisted cane, how to cut hot glass with scissors and explore heat control. The teacher will also demonstrate how to work off mandrel, how to use puntils (glass handles) and other traditional glass working techniques.

Some previous flameworking experience required.

Tools and materials are provided for the class. 

Due to the nature of glass, students will have to return to pick up their finished pieces after they have been annealed.
